Clouds are a source of fascination and frustration for me. When I meet a subject I with which I struggle, I make a pact with myself to paint it. A lot. I'm fortunate to live where I can cloud watch (and paint). This painting started out as a plein aire sketch on a brisk late afternoon in early spring. Available at Legend Gallery, Cooke City, MT
